Back in September 2020, I reported that I had been invited to join BSI’s new committee formed to undertake a review into how quality management systems are operated in the construction industry.
Leaving the compliance and certification process until the end of a project means that risks stack up over time and problems remain unresolved or become difficult to fix.
The BSI have formed a new committee to undertake a review into how quality management systems are operated in the construction industry.
The risks associated with the welding process are often poorly understood in the industry. It is far easier to ensure than the correct processes and documentation are followed during the fabrication process than it is to retrospectively assure fabrication after it has been delivered to site.
On 23rd July 2020, I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend a webinar on the subject of “Quality in Construction”. This excellent webinar was presented by Dame Judith Hackett and hosted by the Leicester and Coventry Branch of the Chartered Quality Institute.
