I have an honours degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and for the past 25 years have specialised in quality management on major infrastructure projects.
Working for both client and multi-national contractor organisations, I have successfully led multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement compliant quality assurance and self-certification systems on a wide range of major projects including: Crossrail, East London Line, Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Jubilee Line Extension.
I am recognised as an expert on quality management within the construction and related supply chain industries, notably for the implementation of the Progressive Assurance and Self-certification models within the major project environment.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute and a Member of the Institute of Collaborative Working.
I am an Associate Member of the Academy of Experts : an organisation which provides a source of accredited Expert Witnesses & Mediators who are governed by codes of practice and disciplinary procedures.
I have successfully completed the Academy's Foundation Course and am establishing a service to provide expert witness services for construction related cases.
I was a leading member of the Tideway Quality Alliance Team which was nominated as one of the 4 finalist of the Chartered Quality Institute World Quality Team of the Year Award 2019. I am an active member of the Steering Group of the Chartered Quality Institute Construction Special Interest Group (ConSIG).
